Hi There

We want to allow softphones to register via two separate internet facing IP's to split traffic for certain users.

The problem I am running into is that the softphone registers exclusively with the FQDN provided by 3cx and takes the default route's public IP.
- Even if I set the provisioning to IP A or B it still sends the QR code as the FQDN.

Is there any way that we can have the softphones register with public IP addresses instead of the FQDN?

Thanks

Hi @uthetha,

I'm afraid that isn't possible.

Note that the QR code is generated based on which address you've used to log in (the IP or the FQDN). In your case logging in with the FQDN will generate it using the FQDN address.

Hi there

Thank you for the response. Would we be able to accomplish this by having 2 separate instances of 3cx running and linking the two as if they were two different sites?
