When I make a call from the Deskphone to my mobile , then I hear a normal ring tone.

But when I call the same mobile from my Windows Client , I pick up my Deskphone, ....and then I hear the OnHold.wav music on my Deskphone....(my mobile is ringing)...strange....I want to hear ring tone , I want to hear I am calling somein, not a OnHold.

Windows Client is configured as 'Deskphone (CTI)'

I hope someone understand my problem (and have an answer)

thank you very much!

(tried to search the forum but could not find a good answer)

Yes the post is the simular! My customer does not want to be 'onhold' when using CTI. He want to hear the ring(back)tone.

Back to version 14 is not possible.

Means there is no sollution / work arround?

(I tried this, but I am not sattisfied: I added a couple of seconds of silents in the beginnen of the OnHold wav)

Is it a remote phone make using the Make Call?

Yes a remote phone

3cx support will tell you that is the correct behavior. I've personally can't stand it for remote phones since version 12.5 and created an idea's post about it a very long time ago. I used to have a remote phone at my house (yealink t46) and I was able to tweak the software so it dialed the number correctly.

The phone you are using is a "supported" phone model for CTI?

I think I was able to put the Out of Office FQDN in the In Office in 3cx software and then restart the software and it worked correctly. I might be missing one more thing I had to do. But then it stopped doing the "make call" and dialed the number correctly.
