I aim to establish a bridge between my on-premise 3CX system and the cloud-hosted 3CX instance, so calls and extensions can flow between both environments.
could you explain any steps that mostly practicable and cost effective ?

To do this you will need to have both systems on a Professional or Enterprise license.

Then you can utilise the bridges in the Voice & Chat page to connect the 2 systems together.
