Solved How to configure Yealink EXP40 in 3CX web panel

I'm having the same issue as this post here

We have Yealink T46S Phones, two of them have the EXT40 expansion module. I can configure the expansion module buttons via the phone's web interface, but every time it sends a provision request to the server those buttons get wiped out. It's a real pain to reconfigure every time.

My question is, how do I configure the expansion module in the 3CX panel instead of the phone web page? Adding BLF buttons just give extra pages on the phone LCD, I can't find a way to configure the exp40 itself

Looking in the template... Are you starting with the right BLF Key?

Thanks Craig, I'm pretty sure that is my problem - going to try it out now.

Better off going with the correct BLF number listed here than changing the template in my opinion.

Yep, just start configuring BLFs at number 28, leaving the rest blank. Works like a charm

Now if they would add a "Add 5 BLF's" or "Add 10 BLF's" then it would make it easier... and a "COPY BLF FROM EXT" to make it easier.

Yes, that would be great
Even import a text file would make it much easier.
to have to click dropdown, BLF, dropdown, Extension#, 40 times is quite tedious.
However, it is much easier than the phone webpage itself, and now I know I won't ever have to do it all over again (this was at least the 4th time for each phone).
