How to connect 3CX PBX to Cisco router gateway by IP-to-IP

Dear All.

has anyone tried connecting 3cx directly to cisco router using the router as a voip gateway. i have tried from the link http://www.3cx.com/forums/how-to-connect-3cx-pbx-to-cisco-router-gateway-by-ip-to-ip-1487.html but 3cx did not register the gateway.

any help will be appreciated. Thanks

How about a little more info like router model and version of 3CX?

Hi,

the router model is AS5850 with the following information:

1. IOS image "disk0:c5850tb-p9-mz.124-13b.bin"

2 . Cisco IOS Software, 5850tb Software (C5850TB-P9-M), Version 12.4(13b), RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc3)

3. the version of the 3cx is version 11

Now then, what are you actually trying to do with the device. It has quite a bit of capability, but this also depends on what optional cards and features you are trying to use.
