How to play prompt before transferring someone from IVR

Hi there,
I can see threads on the forum with information on how to turn off the 'please hold while I try to connect you' prompt, however I have the opposite issue -
External calls are connected to an IVR, which upon user input either transfers them to an extension, or a Ring Group.
Is there any way to *enable* the prompt PLSHOLD

This is my IVR Config -


I can see the PLSHOLD prompt in the promptset, which I will replace with our own recording, but nothing actually plays before the transfer.

Have you tried to see if other prompts do work?

You could place ANOTHER IVR between the initial IVR and the final destination. You would have to create an IVR for each option on the first IVR. Each IVR would automatically transfer to the final destination after the prompt plays. Pretty hacky, but it would work.

Hmm. This is indeed very hacky! The main issue with this is that there seems to be no way to do this when a user enters an extension to dial instead. I'm mainly wondering where these other posts seem to have the prompt from? I can only presume this was in a previous version of 3CX?

Prompt set definitely up to date - Standard UK English prompts. The please_hold.wav file isn't empty.
