Htek UC802P UPGRADE FIRMWARE FAIL

I have encountered an issue attempting to upgrade to the latest 3CX distributed firmware for the Htek UC802P

Failure occurs when attempting to upgrade from web interface Management/Upgrade/ROM Firmware upgrade where fw802.rom is selected for the upgrade.

. These are new units. Seeking tips, tricks and/or suggestions appreciated.

Current:

There may be a number of possible reasons some of which are:

a) The firmware on the device is too old and you need to upgrade the roms sequentially one by one until you reach the recommended version (manufacturer can provider the older firmware versions)
b) The firmware is too new and will not allow you to downgrade
c) The phones may be locked from the factory or dealer (happens in some regions) and only allows specific firmware to be installed

Thank you John and I would like to try updating firmware one by by one. Factory new currently has FW from 2016. Do you or anyone know if 3cx maintains an archive of past firmware for the htek 802?

We keep the current version, so I would suggest visiting the manufacturers site or archive to download them.
