In that thread (and in the KB) you are stating GEN 2 for Debian.
We are asking about GEN 2 Windows OS on Windows Hyper - V

The KB is not clear on Windows OS.

We are stating no Gen 2 for Debian specificially

But if you are not using Debian, you can install a Windows 10 instance in Gen 2 Hyper-V vm just fine.
