Hi,

I added iLBC to the parameters MS_LOCAL_CODEC_LIST and MS_EXTERNAL_CODEC_LIST.
It seems to work fine as of the INVITEs and OKs.
Is there anything I have to worry about? (asking because this codec is not in these two lists by default)

Opus question: With opus I can hear all the background noise. Anything I can do about that?

Thanks

This will probably generate a high CPU load due to the need to transcode when calls are not endpoint to endpoint.

Opus is of such high quality compared to the rest, so you hear background noise.
Lower quality codecs are too compressed in comparison so they may sound less noisy in the background. It's up to the handset/headset used to apply its own noise suppression.

actually I added iLBC to these parameters to avoid transcoding.

While testing I also had internal calls not beeing able to set-up with the Error "Unsupported Media Type"
between a sip-phone that can speak iLBC (and PCM) and 3cx-App (provisioned with iLBC only).

So if I understand correctly there must be combination of transcoding between codecs that the 3cx-pbx cannot do?
If yes, can you provide a matrix of possible combinations?

If no, I surely have made mistake while testing.

Thanks

Wireshark will enlighten you to what is going on under the hood and why you are getting this error. But you are better off sticking to a supported configuration
