Installation option "I have my own FQDN " not available

According to
https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual/configuring-your-pbx/
the installation script allows to use a self maintained FQDN

However upon installing the free edition I do not get this dialog. Directly after selecting static/dynamic IP I get the "Select your preferred Subdomain/FQDN" dialog.


We want to host the software on our own server, using our DNS

Free edition = Standard which does not allow you to use your own DNS but you can still host on your own server. You need a Pro or Enterprise license to use your own FQDN. Is there a particular reason you want the hassle of your using your own DNS?

As mentioned you will need to upgrade your licence to Pro or ENT to be able to use a custom FQDN as the Standard (Free) edition of the PBX can only be installed with a 3CX FQDN.
