The IP Phones GXP 1615, 1625 and 1628 turns in very slow performance. I am using a 3CX PBX V16 installed on AWS (Debian 9) with 3CX SBC (Windows) for remote users. When the issue is present in an IP Phone the only way to make it works properly is to turn off and turn on the device. The IP Phones uses firmware version 1.0.4.132. Do you know how to fix to this issue?

what, precisely, does this mean: "very slow performance"

Hello. I mean the IP Phones has a large delay when insert the digits to make a call. The display shows the digits not immediate. It was also reported that the external caller received the ring tone, but the extension called using the IP Phone does not notice the ringing after some seconds.

Well those are budget phones. I'd start by factory resetting one of them and see if it that resolves the issue. You also don't specify what SP of v16 you are on so I'd make sure you are on the latest and have the latest template downloaded.

Hello. I will factory reseting one of each IP Phone model, reprovisioning them and see if it solve the issue.
I forgot to mention that 3CX PBX is integrated to SalesForce.
About the information requested:
The template is grandstream.ph.xml but does not indicate its version.
ProductProfessional Annual
Version Number16.0.676

I think you are missing a number in there but it looks like you are on Update 3 (16.0.3.676). If there are no updates available for the phone (template or firmware) then you should be good there. Was it sluggish before the Salesforce integration? I'm thinking those devices might have limited memory and a large phonebook might be dragging them down.

Hi,
I had the same problem with my Grandstream phone. I Force them using TCP instead UDP. It solves the problem.
Regards,

Hello.

I did not tested to change manually SIP Transport from UDP to TCP yet. That option is not available in 3CX console manager.

A new template for GXP 16xx was available since last week, so I did update it and also reprovisioned all IP Phones but the same issue remains.
I attach a pic showing that the Status/System Info/Service Status of an IP Phone during the issue is in red color NO SERVICE RUNNING. The rest of information is not showed because the IP Phone was in a very slow performance. The information that must be showed in Service Status fields are GUI MEM and Phone MEM.
Almost all administrative users use IP Phones GXP 16xx and only 4 of them are queue managers and uses the IP Phones as extentions. All queue agents use 3CX Phone Windows and working fine.
The last firmware for GXP 16xx IP Phones is 1.0.4.140 but is not homologated yet in 3CX.

It is also reported and checked that the Phone UI to access WEB Portal IP Phones configuration is not available even if the console manager is in the same LAN of the 3CX SBC (Windows).

I think there is something missing in template configuration to avoid full use of memory of the IP Phones GXP 16xx.

Let me know if you have a solution to this issue.
