Is it possible to delete old chats - Part II

Is it possible to delete old chats? A colleague created a (group) chat we do not need any more.
The solution here https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/how-to-delete-old-chats.54379/ does not help.

Hi Chris,

The chats live on the server so once you purge them from there they should all go away.

Can you please tell us the steps you've done so far?

Dashboard -> Enable Chat Logs. I do not want to purge all chats, I just want to disable a group chat named IT-Networks.

Ok now that you have enabled the chat logs, look to the left menu and there will be a Chat Logs section under Advanced.

You can find the chat in question and delete it. Once the clients refresh, it should now be gone

I found the solution: -> open chat in browser -> mark chat -> click "Archive" in the right upper corner. Thanks for your help.

Yes, that will work for hiding it from your main chats, but the chat will not be deleted like you originally requested.
