Linksys 962 and 3cx few questions..NEWBIE!!

Dear all,

I have just purchased the 3cx system small business edition and (will) have 5 linksys 962 connected. I have a few questions though:

- I auto provisioned the phones and now all 6 bfl show the extension number. If I am having a phone call on this extension though, no other calls come through. How can I use all other lines and have more calls, incoming AND outgoing?
- how do I provision the phonebook? I purchased the 3cx system because it has auto provisioning.....
- how do I provision the BFL buttons?

If someone knows the solutions for above, I would appreciate it....

Hello and welcome,

1-You have to create 6 accounts in 3CX and your spa962
2-You do not have BLF in your SPA962 IF you need BLF you have to buy SPA932 (32BLF)
I did not try it yet
3-I do not have phone book so I can not help you in this point

As I understand the 6 BSF on the 962 are the same as all of them on the 932.

I still don't know how to achieve call waiting in the current setupI have. How can I arrange for this? Of the 6 registered extensions (all the same) I basically only use the first one.

Are there any answers on phonebook provisioning?

this for account choice
you have to create 6 extensions in 3CX
the configure 6 accounts in spa3102

to open call waiting in each extension
you have change use pbx status to use phone status in extension settings /forward rules

I don't understand which settings I need to change to activate call waiting on all extensions and phones.

I have 5 Linksys 962's connected to 3cx ver 6.1.0 small business version.

Ideally I would have 5 extensions for 5 phones and would be able to use multiple internal as well as external (VoIP provider has unlimited simultaneus lines/calls) lines. How can I achieve this with what settings?

each spa962 has 6 lines
each line has 2 calls

in the 3CX server settings /extension settings / forward rules
change use pbx status to use phone status

you have to set forward rules and ring groups to get second and third ...etc calls
