Solved Linux Command Line to switch standby to passive

Hello Brains trust,

I would like to cater for an Internet service outage. We currently have a simple script which alerts us when our secondary PBX becomes active. I now can script restarting the services on the primary PBX so the DNS will automatically change.

Is there a command line to change the standby from Active back to Passive?
If so, I will have an end to end solution to fail back automatically in both an Internet outage or Primary PBX restart (Power up).
