Looking for an affordable sip trunking service

Hello all,

I am looking for a secure, affordable, reliable sip trunking service for 3CX for our small office. Preferably one where I can get static phone numbers that will never change.

Does such a thing exist?

Which country you are located in ?
Select between supported SIP trunk providers or take a look at: http://www.voip-list.com/voip_countries/ -- most of them should work with 3CX.

Never, is a long time. Keep in mind that any number that is assigned by a provider, may be lost if that company ever goes out of business. In many cases, a number will be brought with, and ported to a provider. You may have fewer issues taking that (type of) number with you if you choose to move to another provider, for what ever reason.

If long term retention of a number is critical, then ask (and perhaps get a response in writing) "what will happen to my number if...?"

Hi All,

I will definitely recommend broadvoice / phone power. They have the best cost benefit and the quality is excellent. I have been using them for more then 10 years now.

I'm almost 4 weeks new to 3CX and seem to be having trouble with inbound calls on broadvoice/phone power.
Would someone be kind enough to show me the sip configuration?

@gschmidt what kind of problems? They are supported by 3cx and you should have no problems.

Please describe your issue in order to get better and more specific help.

From what I can tell, the inbound calls never hit my server.
The image below shows my basic config for the trunk.
Outbound calls work, just not inbound.

Generally if calls aren't hitting the trunk/PBX it's not a trunk/3CX problem but a firewall problem. Does your install pass the firewall test?

I appreciate your response cobaltit.
I've checked and double-checked the firewall. Passed each time.
Even went so far as to order a trunk from Vitelity, which is working great for outbound
and inbound calls.

UK provider which is low cost is VoIPFon. Not an approved provider however it works.
