Dear Community,

I came across this ticket: https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/forwarding-when-extension-is-not-registered.29819/
Now with V18, the settings are still the same as it was back then.

Although, we have noticed that it looks like that the call is not being forward when your extension is unregistered.
Yes, we have added the phone number in the correct way (+31612345678) and the status should be available.
In V18 you don't see the status anymore, only that the extension is unregistrered.

In V16:

The question in general:
How do you forward a call to an external number if the extension you are calling is not registered? i.e.
With a queue, if say the user on extension 123 if not logged into his extension, then divert any calls for his extension (123) to his mobile phone.

Thanks in advance!

Kind regards,

Max

Use the "Ring mobile simultaneously". It will fake-register the extension to allow calls through the mobile.

Hi Max, @Cloudiction,

The forwarding to your mobile is handled from the Forwarding Rules of the Extension for each status:

Below that exists the Ring my Mobile setting @ConceptsWeb is speaking about.

We've tried that before and it had the same result for one extension. Just did a test with a test account and it works. Will dive into that specific extension. Thanks! You may close the case.
