Max Park Calls?

Hello;

Subject to the 3CX doc, the park call can be from Room 0 to Room 9, totally 10 rooms and the max. is 64 for all 10 rooms, if I just keep using Room 0 (*00) for all user to use for Park Call, how many calls can be parked here concurrently? Because I do not want to confuse the user when to use *00 or *01?

So you don't want to confuse the user by telling them when to use *00 vs *01 but you are ok with having folks park multiple calls in one park orbit with FIFO? Seems like that would be way more confusing than just using shared parking.

Just add a BLF to each extension. The indicator on your phone will show you if there is a call parked or if it is free:

On 3CX, how to assign a fake extension or external number? I received some instruction before for adding an external number but don't get it why using the external number, I guess the external number means the normal phone number provided by Telco. What is the logic behind it?

On one of my Yealink phone, I set a DSSKey to BLF and pointing to SP0, when I call to this phone from other phone and press the BLF key for SP0, it goes to OnHold music, how can I pick up the call from the other phone?

With the provided link, I understand the *00 and *10 is to park and to unpack the call at Orbit 0 but how about if using SP0?

Let's say, I configure my Yealink phone and assign a DSSkey to use BLF for SP0, how to pick up this parked call from the other phone?

It's not explained very well but per the last sentence on the page you can just hit the BLF on the other phone to pick it up. "Once the person finishes their current call, the BLF on the person’s SIP device indicates the next call to process which can be taken via a simple press of the BLF button."
Or in the Switchboard view, right click the call and Unpark.

I'm not sure what you mean about any fake extensions... just do as below to test the feature:

1. Assign SP0 to two phones and reprovision them for the BLF to appear.
2. While one phone is on a call, if they press that BLF then the caller will be put in SP0.
3. On the other phone, just press the same BLF to pick up the call in SP0.

Simple as that.

I did the same but my result is difference.
I am using three phones to test, Phone 1,2 ,3
On phone 2 and phone 3, I set a DSSKey for SP0
I dial from Phone 1 to Phone 2
on Phone 2, I press the DSSKey to transfer the call to SP0, it put the call on HOLD and on-hold music is playing.

On Phone 3, I saw the assigned DSSKey change from "Parking" to "Parking Talking" where "Parking" is the value I put onto the phone label.

When I press the DSSKey on Phone 3, and pick up to start talking, my voice start on the phone 2, the phone 1 is still in on-hold mode.

It sounds like you have customized the phones. I think you should reset them and provision them with the default 3CX template to see if it works as intended.

What phones models are you using for this test? It should work on supported models with the latest 3CX firmware (as tested here in our labs)

I have three different Yealink phone
T40G
T46S
VP530
T60P (legacy phone)

If I am using *00 / *10 to park and to unpark the call, can I place more than one call to *00? Then the user just unpark it by entering the *10<ext. number>.

Never used Shared Parking - but its First In first out. So just *00 and *10
or *01 and *11.

However, just use Shared Parking - forget about legacy Orbits.

Ok let's' simplify this:

1. No custom templates for this test!
2. Make sure T40G and T46S have latest 3CX firmware
3. Edit both their extensions to have SP0 or SP1 for example
4. Reset and reprovision them automatically
5. Call T40G from a random webclient extension, and when you answer, press SP BLF
6. Now T40G is free, and SP BLF changes color
7. On T46S, you will also notice that same SP BLF changed color
8. Now Press the SP BLF on T46S, you will be connected to the person talking on the webclient
9. T40G will show the BLF changing again, because the SP is now free
