Digital Receptionist and Ring Groups used to appear at the top level of the menu of the webclient administration page.

Does anyone know where these have been moved?

Hi @dRoo,

Are you logging in to the Management Console with the appropriate rights? Which account are you logging in with?

Darn I overlooked your response on Tuesday!

I was setup by our ISP as the admin back on day one and used my account to setup the IVR and Ring Groups. So I presume I have the right privileges unless something unbeknownst to me has altered my rights. Is there somewhere I can check privileges?

I still have access to Dashboard, Users, Phones, SIP Trunks, Inbound, Outbound, Messaging, Backup, Reporting, Security, Advanced, Settings, Portal. (Though we don't credentials for Portal).

So we are missing what used to be there - Extensions, Groups, Digital Receptionist, Ring Groups, Call Queues.

First of, check if the username in the top-right corner (user menu to logout) is named "A". If not, then you are not using the main admin account (which is probably the previous guy.)

Also, "Extensions" and "Groups" are now in "Users". Groups is one of the first buttons in the toolbar on that page.

However, the others you should see unless you're not the main admin. Then it depends on the rights they set for you.

What version of the 3CX are you using?

Thanks.

The username at the top right is just my initials. No "A" (well...other than the one in my initials!).

Our VOIP provider has the top level admin. Myself and the boss were initially given the next level of admin rights to as many features as possible. There's no previous guy - I've always been the guy.

I doubt our VOIP provider would have randomly changed our rights, so I thought an update must have caused some shuffling of features. Hence I came here to see if others had the some problem. But if that's not the case I'll put in a support ticket with them.

I'm using 3CX version 18.0.234.

Hi @dRoo,

I'm pretty sure they removed your Phone System Administration rights. I just removed that right from an extension and I replicate your issue. I'd suggest logging a ticket for them to check.

Thanks for that. That's exactly what I'll do.

Great! Let me know if this resolves your issue @dRoo.

It did resolve the issue thankfully.

The VOIP provider said that the cause was the latest update. Which apparently recategorised some of the permissions.

(We also had customers stuck in IVR loops, now rectified, and my Jabra integration has broken - still working on that one)

Okay great to hear that the issue has been resolved.

If you're unable to resolve the Jabra integration issue, please open a new thread so we can investigate that further.
