/!\ Missing monitoring Debian packages

Hi,

This follows my request here.

We miss terribly important Debian packages on 3CX installations :

snmpd : used to monitor the server through SNMP : CPU, memory, swap, disk usage, processes... The most common way to monitor a production server...
smartmontools : used to monitor physical disks (SMART status, bad sectors...), and as a result mandatory on a physical production server...

We absolutely need them to properly monitor our 3CX servers...
@Nick Galea, @3CX_devteam, could you then add them back into your 3CX Debian repository please ?
They are absolutely harmless, but absolutely necessary...

Haven't forgotten The packages pushed were security updates.

The ones discussed in this topic will make their way to the main repository hopefully soon in a different update.

Has anyone tested / had a look into v18 update9 and v20 beta1, do they contain snmpd and smartmontools packages ?
Did not give a try yet...

It appears smartmontools is, but snmpd is not. @benrg

Just to give some news, both snmpd and smartmontools packages are now available in 3cx v18 update 9
