Monitoring upgrade logs

Hello,

I need to monitor 3cx upgrade process with monitoring software, and I would like to know which log file will show the error message and what are the possible error messages that we could see in case of failed upgrade?

I found the following log file which gives us info about upgrade process
/var/lib/3cxpbx/Data/Logs/Update.log
But the problem with this file is that it gets created when upgrade is started and then gets deleted when upgrade is completed which isn't something I can monitor without setting monitoring to check every 30 seconds or so.

Basically I would like to "cat" certain log file and "grep" for error messages indicating an issue with upgrade that I could then feed into our monitoring system for alerting.

Email notifications are not an option, so please reply only if you are able to assist me with above request.

3CX already sends emails for when upgrades are failed or successful. What more are you looking for?

I'm interested in monitoring these failures from centralized monitoring system which doesn't include any kind of email reports. Basically what I see on the PBX is that Update.log file is created during the update process, then at the end of the process Update.log is sent as an attachment via email and deleted from the PBX at the same time leaving no traces about update process on the PBX itself.
If delivery of that email fails for any reason, or it doesn't get noticed by someone right away, then we might have a problem.
This is the reason why we want to monitor log files of the PBX with our centralized monitoring system.
It's ok that PBX is sending logs as an attachment, but it's beyond me why they are deleted from the PBX instantly after the procedure is completed instead of waiting for specified period of time.
