We just completed moving our 1 year free trial of 3cx hosted PBX over to an Amazon hosted version. I did this by using the "deploy" option for our license. Everything is working except I can't turn off the old version on 3cx servers and it is still updating our FQDN so I can't actually provision phones. Both instances are using the same FQDN now - one with a static IP and the old one with a dynamic. How do I shut down the old one so it stops updating the domain name?

Depends on where you pushed it to. If you pushed it to Google using your own account which is the typical scenario then you can simply sign into that Google account and shut it down. Same with whatever other service you may have used. Otherwise you'll have to reach out to 3CX to have it shutdown. In the meantime you can stop the services via the management console.

@YiannisH_3CX @JohnS_3CX should be able to help with shutting down the old instance if it's 3CX hosted.

I moved it to Amazon Lightsail from 3cx hosted. On the old 3cx hosted side, I see no way to shut down the service. I'll message those two to see if one of them can do it.

You aren't going to see it in the 3CX interface. It has to be done via the console of whatever platform you chose. For example if you followed this guide:

https://www.3cx.com/docs/hosted-pbx-google-cloud/

Then that means you have a Google Cloud account that you need to login to to shutdown the VM. There is no option inside the management console to do so.

Hi Chad,

PM me with your key if you like and we can turn it off
