(3CX Newbie)
I am running 15.5 and am using Fanvil X4G and X3G phones and I have 1 Snom PA1 tied into my existing PA system.
This is a brand new installation at our company. I had tested the SNOM and had a few phones in place just using a SIP paging group. It all appeared to be working properly until I got all of my phones in place. SIP paging is not an option due to propagation delays between the handsets - paging kind of sounds like you're in a baseball stadium.
After reading recommendations on the forum, I set up a multicast group and now all of the phones are in sync, but the SNOM is no longer working. I am pretty sure it's just a config issue, but I am not sure where to look.
If somebody could walk me through the config options on the Snom and/or the multicast setup as a whole, I would appreciate the help.
Thanks.
