Hello,

I've read this thread but I have still quesitons (https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/outbound-rule-in-multi-tenancy-not-working.135301/#post-646739)

I have Multitenant mode activated, 16SC pro, version 20.

I registered 2 trunk successfully, but I have issues on outbound.

Outbound 1 - Dept 1 (Members 100-109)
Outbound 2 - Dept 2 (110-115)

before adding of Out 2, Out 1 was calling out successfully. after adding out 2 was not calling but 1 yes. now without any change, dept 1 (also other relevant ext's) won't make call but 2 yes.

so I am so confused what goes wrong? btw call is incoming on both dept.

Please make a call, screenshot and send me the Dashboard Event Log directly after the call.

I turned on verbose and now I have, sometimes it failing on Hithub, sometimes fixit.

I am so confused.

Use the departments filter on the rule and not the "from extensions" field.
Hi @ConceptsWeb (and sorry @Nik_si for hijacking your thread). I've noticed that the departments filter and the "from extensions" field are not cumulative. ie. if you use both, the departments filter seems to override the "from extensions" field.

eg. I had an MCM department/company with 2 trunks. certain extensions in this department are to use "Trunk A" while other extensions are to use "Trunk B". I also used the departments filter as well as the "from extensions" filter, so that it is obvious (to me) in the outbound rules who those rules/trunks belong to and also just to reinforce that this rule is not for other departments (though the extension ranges cover this). But with the department filter set, this rule gets satisfied first, regardless of which extension (in this department) the call comes from and the 2nd ("Trunk B") rule never gets used. If I remove the department filter and just use "from extensions", it behaves as expected.

It's not a problem. Just thought I'd mention it in case anyone else is scratching their heads over it.

Thanks @fxbastler. I think that maybe "cumulative" was the wrong word for me to use xD...

"IMPORTANT: If you specify Extensions and one or more Extension Groups then the rule will trigger if the extension is in the group OR in the list of extensions (so, cumulative)".

This is the bit from the manual that caught me, as the extensions for "Trunk B" are also in the same dept/group.

Anyway, it's not a big deal as, by definition, an MCM dept isn't going to be that big anyway.

Cheers,
Ray

Talk to your SIP providers - your credentials, your IP or something else is off - Most probably wrong credentials for HitHub and maybe when you dial out from Fixit with the HitHub number, that gets rejected by them.

so are you confirming that 3CX configuration is all good and problem is between 3CX and ISP, right?

All we can see is that the SIP Trunk provider is rejecting certain calls. The simplest way to know why is to ask them.
