I may be missing something, but when changing BLF buttons on the phone how do you get them to reflect the changes in the GUI? I have changed speed dialing entries and they are not showing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Are you using the web interface of the phone to change buttons? If so that's not supported and will not push to 3CX. You need to make the changes in the management console on the BLF tab of the extension.

I was making the changes on the phone interface itself not the web GUI. So if that is true, users can make changes to their BLF buttons but they will not be reflected to the server? Is there a way to force the sync or is that just a limitation of the software?

Correct. The PBX is the authority, not the phone. If the users want to make changes to the buttons they should do it via the management console/web client

That could be a disaster... either way. I don't want to manually configure 100+ phones and yet I do not want the users jacking around with the system either.

Users can make changes to the BLF keys in the 3CX windows (Show Sidecar, and select the blf) and 3CX web client (Settings - BLF Settings)

Next time the phone provisions, it will update the blf keys

The 3CX Webclient is designed to allow the user to pick their own BLFs safely.

Once they do this, the phone will need to be restarted and upon reboot it will re-provision itself with the changes straight from the PBX server. Alternatively, the phone will eventually re-provision at some point during the day and pick up the settings

Ok. That will be better than having to do this manually. I have another question/issue, but I will start another thread to lessen the confusion.

Thank you all for your responses.
