Hi all...

I'm having a problem with our 3CX installation. I recently installed a new copy on Windows Server 2016 - configured and rolled out to clients and works brill. However, the office hours aren't being applied. I have tried config at global level, trunk level, and manually forcing in and out of office - none of these work.

The server time and 3CX time seems to be configured correctly - and call routes for out of hours are also configured. We're running the latest update of 3CX.

Can anybody please shed some light on the situation?? Don't fancy keeping our customers in a holding queue for hours on end where there is nobody in the office.

Kindest regards,
Reece Froggatt.

Hi,

Yes I’m aware of that - still no luck :(

That one catches a lot of people out.

Can you see anything in the activity log that could give a clue ?

Hi,

Nope - nothing in the log, really confusing...

Check the time on your server - is it accurate to your timezone ?

Have you restarted the 3CX services ? to see if this helps

Hello @Reece Froggatt

The first thing you need to do is to verify that the time on the server is correct. Then dial *640 (or any other dial code you might be using) from a device to ensure that the PBX is using the default office hours.

Note that forcing the system to Out of office hours only affects trunks so a simple test would be to set the out of office hours in your trunk to a different destination and dialling *642. Once you hear the prompt that the Phone System is set to Out of office hours try to dial in the main trunk number and see where the call is going. If you do not get the prompt then check the Dial codes in Settings / Dial codes to make sure it is setup correctly.

Hello,

I have tried this - and forcing out of office hours and still no luck. Would you be able to have a look at my installation? Driving me crazy ! :) Thanks.

Timezone seems to be set right - logs in 3CX management are showing correct time... 3cx1.PNG

I am afraid you will need to create a ticket with our support department in order for them to be able to determine what is causing the issue.
