Hello everyone,

I was attempting to follow this guide on getting Live Chat setup and on Step 2 it says to click on the Office Settings button in the bottom left corner. When I log into my Web Client, I see everything except for that Office Settings button.

Does anyone know what might be causing this to occur?

Because the LiveChat plugin has been updated for StartUP and Update 4, but U4 isn't available yet. This would be in the 3CX Console on the other side, and not the webclient, in this case.

Thank you ConceptsWeb for the reply. Do you know where within the 3CX Management Console that I would find these options since they're not available within my Web Client?

First, your role in the group should be manager. Then (this happened to me) if you upgraded the PBX, then in the WebClient do a logout-login so the button will appear, browser CTRL+R didn't work.
Hope it helps.

Once again, Office Settings are available in StartUP only as a manager. You are using a dedicated instance so these settings are in the Console.

@Vali_3CX @NickD_3CX Please be more specific somewhere about this. People will start being confused as to which service they have.

Dear Nicholas and Concepts,

Thank you for the quick reply.
I m administrator in our system, but in the two portals ( see Attachement ) i can't see the OFFICE SETTING's

@Ed Grassere

You are not using the 3CX StartUP. Please see my post above for the proper procedure. You will NOT see the Office settings in your web client.

That is a different product we recently released.

were can i find the settings for the chat in our portal?

oke.. i see.... we have installed a newer version.... so at this moment it can't work with this version.
Can we install the old version from some where?

@Ed Grassere in post #10 above I have provided a link which will take you to the previous release.

When you install 9.4.3 please disable auto updates.

Thank you , the downgrade helped, and it works again.

Would be nice if users get an email or notification about these changes... would save a lot of work for you.

@Ed Grassere

A blog post was released on the 4th of May 2022 about this.

https://www.3cx.com/blog/news/live-chat-wordpress-attention/

This is our main way of communicating with our clientele as a lot of 3CX partners get antsy when 3CX emails their clients directly, even though it is the clients that are mainly affected.
There was an email.
