Solved Outbound rules not created with setupconfig.xml

hello all,

I'm new in the automation of 3cx installation with setupconfig.xml. I just templated a file for my company, which is pushed with puppet. Then when the package 3cxpbx is installed, he reads the /etc/3cxpbx/setupconfig.xml file well without error.
But when i access to the webinterface, i see all the extensions well configured, the trunk up and well configured too, but the outbound rules aren't here. Like if no one of my <OutboundRule> were saw by the configuration wizard of 3cx.

I'm using a OVH siptrunk, with host: siptrunk.ovh.net.

So my question is, Do you have any idea about what I've bad done on the setupconfig.xml ?
Without this rules, i can't call to the extern numbers ... :'( it's very sad :'(

Hi Gaby,

You may look into your logs and read the log called pbxwebconfigtool to see if it faced any errors

Can you try doing it only with one outbound rule to see if it works? https://www.3cx.com/docs/configure-pbx-automatically/

Yes i've tried it with only one outbound rule, but it doesn't change anything :/
I've always no one rules created :/

My rules looked like this for your test :


Moreover, i have to precise you that i'm using a testing license with a 3CX fqdn 3cx.fr So maybe that i can't do it on a evaluate license no ? :/

Yup that's the one. Seems ok but you still don't see your rules?

What if you create the rules manually in the management console, but using the EXACT same names, will they get saved and appear for you?

Yes i still don't see any rules up.
When i create it by myself manually it works.

Maybe should i try your sample of setupconfig.xml and tell you if it works for the outbound rules too.
A new SP just came out now, i'll try with this new version if you want too.

If you want all this informations just tell me
I don't have any idea about what is happening to not create this rules :/

On our tests it works fine so it's strange indeed, yes you can try the new version and use our template from our site I think it's best to start from there.

In the new 3cx version, with your template, i cans see the outbound rule created :'(
The only differences are "DNRanges" and "DNGroups".

Do you see any errors on my outbound above ? :/
Or Maybe do you have any sample of outbound rules in setupconfig for ovh siptrunk.

So you can see it being created now?

I would suggest to follow our template layout just in case. If some tags are missing or formed differently it might not work as intended

Yes it works.
I'll copy paste your outbound rules. I think that deleting DNGroup and DNRanges instead of leting them being empty was my bad here.
