Intermittently outbound calls fail. can't be an outbound rule as some outgoing are successful and some are not. phones sit behind SBC. I see the calls in the call detail report as status 'failed'

What's the error given by the trunk? It should show up in the Event Log.

Hi,

I recommend to start with telling us your setup https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/information-to-provide-when-requesting-help.67558/

Then, what you can do is increase the logging level of the PBX to verbose, and filter out the calls that failed to see why they failed. The reasons could be anything (ie. your trunk capacity has been reached, your trunk was unregistered, you may have reached the license limit, the device wasn't ready etc.) Grab some verbose logs first, they are a good starting point

Have you spoken to the provider about those specific responses?

  1. They replied to you with a 503 on the first case
  2. On the second case the PBX seems to have not been able to reach the provider (unregistered)
