Hello,
At times we are experiencing about a 10 second delay in paging between beeps. Other times it is right away. Is there anyway to fix this?

Are the calls originating from the same location (set)? I would look over the Activity Log and compare a call with no delay, to one with a delay. What is different?

They are all originating from the Receptionist. We are running a Snom PA1. It seems to get worse from my point of view when more people are on the phones and they have paging going through their phones.

If there is a delay being introduced somewhere, the Activity Log should show where it is happening, which might provide a clue as to why.

Im having trouble finding this activity log, you mentioned.

The Activity log is located on the Dashboard of the management console. There are different logging levels that will provide more details. I would not recommend leaving Verbose enabled for prolonged amounts of time as it is CPU and HDD demanding.

Still have not seen anything or understood whats in my activity log that would trigger a major delay in the system.

You say its worse when folks are on the phone (makes me thinkExtension based Paging) and you mention a PA1 (which makes me think Multicast).

How is the Paging configured?
As a call to EACH extension - or as MULTICAST?

Yes it is configured to show as a call to each ext. I have to manually add the exts to the paging group we have configured within 3cx under Digital Receptionist.

Depending on how many handsets I have seen this issue.
Multicast is the way to go if you are on the same LAN for all devices.

I dont know if multicast would work with our setup since we have a different buildings linked together via a p2p with comcast. I would be nervous about changing paging setup for one building with this issue compared to all 3 buildings with different snoms.
