We have issues with very poor call quality lately. It seems to have started with version 16, because there were no complaints before that. Symptoms include alls with crackly and static-y audio; initial inbound call being Ok, but after transferring the caller to a park slot and picking it up again, then the audio is poor; transferred calls (like sending a call to a worker's cell phone) in general see very poor audio.

Any suggestions on where to start to find the issue?
By the way, outbound calls seem to be fine.

Are you able to replicate the problem?

Can you do a wireshark capture and listen to to the audio?

Can you turn on call recording and see if its picked up there?

What codecs are you using?

What codecs are the poor quality calls using?

Does your firewall test pass?

Can you provide more info on your set up from the pinned post.

Wireshark would be a good first step as mentioned above:

I have upgraded our entire estate of hundreds of 3CX systems recently to v16 and none have reported issues with audio due to the upgrade. Despite it occurring I would perhaps also consider that it could be a coincidence and still consider that the network could be a factor in this equation - almost all issues I have experienced with poor audio are network related.

A reduce in codec to a compressed codec is a good work around and way of proving if limited bandwidth could be a factor here.
