I'm looking to replace a system that uses a pre-queue message ring.
call comes it, rings once and then plays a promo message to the customer. then call flows into queue and starts ringing the phones 'for real'.
The purpose is to get the employees in this quick-server restaurant to start moving toward the phone so they can pick up on the first ring after the promo message.
Current system does a single ring on the phones. This would be fine. could also get a sip ringer if there was a way to use it this way.
playing with a ring group with a short duration and failover to a queue. Not really in love with this method though.
