Is there a way to prepend/append group names to blocked/anonymous calls? This feature only works if the caller has a caller ID and our staff need to be able to tell which ring group the caller dialed, even if the caller has a blocked/anonymous number.

Thanks

Can you send us the logs for this?

How far do the logs usually go back? I did the tests on Saturday and the logs only seem to go back 1 day.

no make the test now and generate the logs right then.

Problem is that to avoid CPU usage we switch off backup of logs.

Set the logging to verbose and you will keep the logs of the previous days - But I d rather you send us conpact logs.

best thing to do is, set to verbose, restart the services, replicate the problem and send me the logs immediately telling me that call number 5 for example failed.

No problem, I'll try to do another test this week.

Thanks

Attached,

Any call that is anonymous or blocked will not show the group name...

Turns out this is an issue with Cisco phones, the softphone and polycoms display correctly. I read in another forum that the solution was to change AnonymousCaller to Unknown... is there a way to do this in 3CX?

The same bug here. no solution where found ?

Re: Prepend/append ring group name to blocked/anonymous call

Anyone found a solution to this. We use Cisco SPA504G and all anonymous calls simply show as "anonymous" no ring group or call queue information.
