When creating new extensions, the 3CX App network settings, the local IP of our Azure box is shown, e.g. 10.0.0.4, and not the FQDN company.3cx.co.uk, how do I change this to always default preset the domain for 3CX App 'phones'. Our physical desk phones use an SBC. Google is giving a clear answer on this occasion! Any assistance much appreciated.

Whilst investigating, I also search settings > parameters to see what else is configured with this local 10.0.0.4 IP, seems quite a few things:

CMEXTERNALINTERFACE
DEFAULTLOCALIP
MSEXTERNALINTERFACE
SIPDOMAIN2
WEB_ROOT_LOCAL
WEB_ROOT_LOCAL_SEC
MYPHONE_LINK_LOCAL
MYPHONE_LINK_LOCAL_SEC
REPORTER_LINK_LOCAL
REPORTER_LINK_LOCAL_SEC
PROVISIONING_LINK_LOCAL
PROVISIONING_LINK_LOCAL_SEC
MANAGEMENT_LINK_LOCAL
MANAGEMENT_LINK_LOCAL_SEC

Should these not be a public accessible route? We migrated from on-premises to Azure last year via export/restore config so possibly a hangover from this.

Under Settings > Network what is your default listed there?

is it the same as whats under EXT > Provisioning > Network interface?

'Select Network Card Interface > Default Internet facing IP Address. (Default gateway)' is set to: 10.0.0.4 (There is no other option). Extensions are by default set to this.

'External IP Configuration > Static Public IP' is set to the Azure box public IP.

So its not reflecting your external IP?

Not sure what choice you have - does it appear after rebooting th VM and or 3CX?

if not you might have to backup 3CX without network settings and restore it
