Dear all,

Firstable, I am sorry as I am more or less discovering 3CX system - My boss gave me the responsability to handle few 3CX systems for our customers, and I am learning.

For one of our customer, we had a V15.5 3CX on a Windows 7 VM.

This morning I scheduled to migrate this system to a fresh new W10 VM.

Here is what I did :

- Fully update the new W10 VM - with a different IP on the same network as the previous one
- Do a full backup on the previous server
- Shutdown the previous server
- Changing the IP of the new server in order to take the "old" IP
- Installation of 3CX on the new server by uploading the backup

At this point, everything is working more or less as excepted :

SIP Trunks are up - we can reach the central number and it rings from the phone we are initiate the call
We can see on Call Log those calls

However, I have 2 problems :

Phones are not provisioning even after restart. It says "No Service"
On Phones tab, I can see all phone Yealink came up as "New" - the Reprovision option is greyed out

Can someone help me ? What should I do next ?

Thanks a lot for your help.

Hi,

Check the IP blacklist - if the phones are getting blacklisted you might have to reset and reprovision all of them.

But first factory reset a single phone.
Delete the entry from the 3CX extension Provisioning tab.
Assign the phone again and see if this works.

Once you have one working phone, you can now compare the settings of that phone versus the others that are failing to get a better understanding of why they all failed to register. My guess is that they are not able to reach the IP of the PBX, but the above procedure should shed some light.

I fixed my problem.

Phone was EOL and needed to be provisioned manually. (after updating to latest firmware version)

Also, thanks for the IP blacklist tips, because phones tried to provisioning by themself and they were blocked on the system until I found the right configuration settings.

Thanks a lot for your help.
