Hi! In PWA V20, i am trying to add another call to the existing call. My scenario is:
I received an incoming call in my webclient and talking with customer.
Then i will hold the customer and call another number and will talk with the third person and inform that i am about to join the call with a customer and then i will join the calls, we will speak 3 of us.

I tried using conference button , but conference option starts the conference immediately when the third person answers the call, there is no time to speak with him privately, 3 way call immediately starts.

I tried to call the 3rd person by using +new call button, but this time i cant join the calls into a 3 way call.

Is there an easy way yo program the blf buttons to make this operation easy for agents. i read some 700**extension or 7000** extension but could not figure out how it works. our extensions are 4 digits.

This is the method:

 Thanks for the information. Just adding a call involves a lot of steps, which is not a useful solution, as agents wish.

See https://www.3cx.com/blog/releases/ios-app-conferencing-modes/

"...choose between Direct Add and Consultative modes:

  • Direct Add – To start a conference instantly. Tap the Conference button, select Direct Add and dial or search for a contact. Once the second participant answers, the call automatically becomes a conference.
  • Consultative – To speak privately before merging calls. Select Consultative, call your contact and chat while your first call is on hold. You can switch between calls until you’re ready to merge them."
Perhaps they will add it into the other clients.

Yes, this is exactly what I was asking for, and they released a beta for mobile apps.
I hope there is a plan to add this feature to PWA softphone too.

As i understood from the announcements: Android, iOS, and Windows Softphone will have this feature. I hope PWA will have too, we only use PWA softphone :)
