Dear has there been any changes to the ports required for the webclient to work from outside.

We are facing a strange issue after update to v18, no audio when using the PWA client on both Edge and Chrome.

Also no audio with Desktop Application.

Other applications are working so it is not a mic or speaker setting.

The Android App and IOS App are working.

Hi!

The first thing you need to do is run the Firewall Checker from the Dashboard --> Firewall and make sure it passes.
To answer your question though, no, the port requirements haven't changed since V16:
https://www.3cx.com/docs/ports/

The only port that was added was 5062 (TCP) only if you are using the Teams integration, which is irrelevant to this case.

Also, what happens when you log into the WebClient (not PWA or Desktop App), do you have audio then?

Other than updating 3CX to v18 from v16 nothing was change.

No audio from WebClient as well.

We have not opened any of the RTP ports

I cannot comment on this much, the only thing I can say is that if this is true and on V16 it worked, your Firewall and/or router was not doing a very good job.... Irrelevant with 3CX, you should be concerned if your network equipment was allowing network traffic in without you explicitly allowing it.

No audio from WebClient as well.
If no ports are open, this is not surprise then.

You need to open the ports, period. If you want a breakdown of the ports ans what they are used for, check here:
https://www.3cx.com/3cxacademy/videos/basic/nat-port-forwarding/

Once you have opened the ports, run the Firewall Checker to confirm everything is done correctly. If not, re-check your network equipment and repeat, until Firewall Checker passes.

well we have the same settings in our firwall for almost 2 years for 3CX, now after the update it has stopped working.

HTTPs port for the web server and SecureSIP were the only ports opened.
