After turning on a desktop that has the new 3CX web Extension installed, and not having a browser open but having the option to display notifications on. Some users - randomly - are getting a incoming call notification - even when they first turn on the computer, when no call is incoming. It happened to myself today when I turned on my PC for the first time after the weekend. I had a persistent notification of an incoming call (Internal extension). I pulled up the 3CX server and it showed no active calls. My desk phone and my smartphone - both with the app and provisioned via SBC - Hosted by 3CX showed no incoming call. I called the extension, and the staff on the other end did not make a call today as they just walked into the office.

Curious: Any Plans to make the extensions auto login based off of SSO from Microsoft? Like PrinterLogic can? Right now when you login and it has SSO Azure AD (Non Hybrid) it will move and install extensions pc to pc, however it doesn't log you into the 3CX.

As a windows user I started using the PWA app in Edge. The auto-start function works fine, but the push notifications don't seem to work. I have set the "edge-system and performance" options as mentioned but when the PWA app is closed it won't start with push notification. Even when an Edge window is open.
I checked my 3CX user setting and PUSH is enabled and accepted on my user account. Anything else I can check?

Hi Ronald,

Does it work in Chrome perhaps? If not, check whether your Windows Focus mode is currently activated (you will see a moon icon):

And also review the Windows settings under Notifications & Actions

Hi John,

Thanks for the tip to check the windows focus mode, I missed that.
But Focus mode is OFF and notifications for 3CX are ON and still no push notification when the PWA app is closed.

Ok all sorted now, the bell icon had to be clicked to enable notifications.
