We found this new feature is available from V15.5 SP3 to create a hosting admin accout during 3cxpbx installation.
https://www.3cx.com/docs/pbx-hosting-admin/

However, the setting up seems just didn't work even if we added the below content in our setup config xml file.
<HostingConfiguration>

<HostingAdminLogin>USER</HostingAdminLogin>

<HostingAdminPassword>PASS</HostingAdminPassword>

<HostingAdminEmail>eMAIL</HostingAdminEmail>

</HostingConfiguration>

The setup config file consists of 4 big parts, tcxinit, HostingAdminConfiguration ,extensions and siptrunk. It seems only the first part, tcxinit is configured successfully. The rest just didn't work. We tried putting the HostingAdmin Configuration content in the tcxinit part, but nothing changes.

Is there something wrong with our setting ? Can anybody provide a more detailed guide? In addition, we want to know, if it is set up successfully, which link should the hostadmin member use? The same with 3CX management console or other link?

Any help will be appreciated.

Update: We found that the given install link in manual for 3cxpbx Linux is for Version SP2 not SP3. Is it the reason for our configuration failure ?

wget -O- http://downloads.3cx.com/downloads/3cxpbx/public.key | apt-key add -
echo "deb http://downloads.3cx.com/downloads/debian stretch-testing main" | tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/3cxpbx-testing.list
apt-get -t testing install 3cxpbx
