Question on Debian versions and updates

I have a question regarding Debian versions/updates for 3CX Linux Distro.

We have latest linux distro on three of our PBX's, does anyone know the specific Debian version is it 9 or 9.5?

Also is there an update route for the operating system?

This question has come up in UK Cyber Essentials certification questions.

If they are your systems just read /etc/os-release for the version info?

As far as is there an update route, are you asking about from 3CX? Clearly if it's your server and its running Debian then you can update it. If you are looking for something from 3CX then there is this:

Thanks, yes I saw the OS update guide on 3CX website for there packaged Debian distro. It doesn't seem to be an issue as it has been accepted as an appliance rather than a server.
