Hello,

I would like to inquire about attended transfers. If I do an attended transfer and the client is put on hold, how do I get their call back so I can speak with them?

Hi @Rayan

What device are you using to perform the attended transfer? Also what you are referring to is for the person who performs the transfer to get the call back, correct?

Hello, thank you for getting back to me.

I'm performing the attended transfer over the phone. To be more specific, for instance, when a client calls me and requests to speak to a colleague, I perform an attended transfer to put the client on hold while I speak with the colleague. If the colleague isn't available, I want to be able to transfer the call back to the client so I can speak with them.

What phone are you using? I am asking because each device may have different functionality so depending on the model of phone you are using the action may be different or not possible at all.

I am using the Samsung S10, but some of my colleagues use IPhones

When using the transfer button on the Android client you can pick between Blind and Attended transfer.
Pick the option Attended and dial the number you want to transfer the call to.
Once you dial you will see 2 lines on the top of the screen. If the receiving end does not want to take the call just hang up the line with them and the call will switch back to the original caller. Press the Resume button to retrieve the call.
If you just want to switch between them select the line on the top.

Thank you, this has helped a bunch :)

Attended transfer to another 3cx, How to show original caller ID info, rather than the extension. Please let me know how to do it.
