Hello, since I can not publish this request in the IDEAS section I post it here hoping it will be useful to someone else too.

In other switchboards it is possible to enter the extensions in the queues using a code from the telephone.
Several of my clients use this feature and it precludes me from switching to the 3cx system.

If other partners also have this need, I would ask you to recreate this post in the IDEAS section and write me privately so that I can vote for it.

Thanks,

Greetings

ext can log themselves in/out of all queues

They can also individually log themselves in/out of certain queues using the web client or desktop app.

Queue managers can also log exts out of queues the same way.

I badly explained myself.
I need extensions that are not members of the queue to be able to log in via numeric code on the phone.
This 3cx doesn't explain it. Not even in the advanced module, in which I am certified.

As for the Ideas post, if you allow only "Gold" partners to post in section "IDEAS", somehow we should have room to be heard. I wrote here because, if a Gold partner is interested as an idea, he can take it and post it in the right section. Greetings

Let's review to ensure we are all on the same page. You can assign extensions to be members of a queue through the 3CX Management Console, and you can log these extensions in/out of the queue as described above. But if you want to log extensions into a queue that they have never been assigned to, that would require the use of the 3CX Call Control API. It is not possible with a dial code.

Having said that, you could create a Call Flow Designer application that when dialed could perform the necessary API calls. It would require some c# code to do it.

The system only allows members of queues to log in/out of queues.
We do not support non-queue members logging in to queues.

We are however working on our next CFD update that will be coming out early next year, and should contain some additional functionality that I think you will find useful in achieving what you want.
