Hi,

I had configured 3cx on a Windows PC with ISDN terminated on Patton Trinity ISDN E1 (SN4171/SN4970A). I have been receiving a lot of fraud request which is getting blocked by PBX. I am now thinking of installing a Raspberry Pi 4. I had gone through their website and can see that both 3cx & 3cx SBC can be installed on the device. Will i be able to install both on the same device or do I need separate devices? Does the HDMI cable, keyboard, mouse, sd card, USB cable & power supply come with the Raspberry Pi 4 or do I need to buy it separately? Do any cables & devices work with Raspberry Pi 4 except the power supply? Will Raspberry Pi 4 work for 16 Channel Enterprise PBX without any load issues?
Will installing Raspberry Pi 4 as SBC reduce the chance of getting hacked ?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Installing 3CX on a Pi will make it no less accessible from the internet.

You cannot run the PBX and SBC on the same device.

You dont need an SBC at the site where your PBX is.

You will need to buy a bundle kit with the Pi to get eveything you need - check with supplierr.

https://www.3cx.com/docs/recommended-hardware-specifications-for-3cx/

check the bottom of there for system requirements.

Hi Vineeth,

No it will not, this is entirely irrelevant and you do not need a Raspberry Pi or SBC for this reason.

Good security practices is what reduces the chances of getting hacked:
