Is this fixed in v4034 ? Or, should we continue waiting before installing this one?

We did not release anything like 4034. In the version 5.1 build 4076 this should be fixed.

I've justed installed 3CX Phone System Version 5.1.4128.0 and this seems to still be an issue. The call forwarding doesn't work as long as the call is coming from an outside line.

The log is:

16:24:57.213 Call::Terminate [CM503008]: Call(17): Call is terminated
16:24:57.193 LineCfg::getInboundTarget [CM503011]: Inbound office hours' rule for LN:10000 forwards to DN:200
16:24:57.193 LineCfg::getInboundTarget [CM503011]: Inbound office hours' rule for LN:10000 forwards to DN:200
16:24:57.183 Call::RouteFailed [CM503014]: Call(17): Attempt to reach [sip:200@faktumsoftware:5060] failed. Reason: No Answer
16:24:46.898 CallCtrl::onSelectRouteReq [CM503004]: Call(17): Calling: Ext:200@[Dev:sip:[email protected]:5060;transport=udp]
16:24:46.898 Line::printEndpointInfo [CM505003]: Provider:[Sip Gate] Device info: Device Not Identified: User Agent not matched; Capabilities:[reinvite, replaces, able-no-sdp, recvonly] UserAgent: [] Transport: [sip:192.168.11.11:5060]
16:24:46.898 LineCfg::getInboundTarget [CM503011]: Inbound office hours' rule for LN:10000 forwards to DN:200
16:24:46.868 CallCtrl::onIncomingCall [CM503001]: Call(17): Incoming call from Unknown@(Ln.10000@Sip Gate) to [sip:200@faktumsoftware:5060]
16:24:46.668 LineCfg::getInboundTarget [CM503011]: Inbound office hours' rule for LN:10000 forwards to DN:200

The setup is:

Line 10000 forwards to extension 200. Extension 200 is forwarding to extension 300 which again alsways forwards to my cell phone. When I do an internal call from extension 200 to 300 it works well (my cell phone is ringing).

Just to be specific: I've also tried to forward line 10000 to extension 300, but that doesn't work either.

I hope this can be fixed soon (or somebody can give me a tip on what I'm doing wrong), because I kind of need the new functionality in version 5.

Why you don't want to forward to outside number right in inbound rule for that line?

Sorry, wasn't specific enough about the forwarding... It is forwarding after 10 seconds and when the phone is not registered. When I sit at my desk, I'm able to answer almost immediately, and if not I want to have the call on my cell phone. I added the 300 extension as an internal shortcut to my cell phone just for ease.

This bug is already found and exterminated. Update will be available quite soon (we're in test phase now)

Did this bug fix ??

I using the V5.1.4128 now ~

When the ext. is "No answer" with DR, it can't forward to outside number , but it can forward to another Ext. !! :!:

Hi guys --

I read this post and I can fully confirm that in the latest build 4128, none of the mentioned issues in this post are present.

This is a result of the tests - >
from PSTN -> PATTON -> PBX --> fw to DR 800 - Press 3 to forward to ext 111 (unregistered) -> rule when unreg -> FW to VMail. PASS
replicated above - forwarding to Outside number instead. PASS OK.

Dialling a direct ext number ex 120 from pstn to dr dials ok. PASS OK
--

from PSTN -> PATTON -> PBX --> fw to DR 800 - Press 3 to connect to 111 - (111 has rule to FW all calls to 112. - then again 112 has rule to forward all calls to Mobile - ex 5 (OUT rule) [my mobile no]. My mobile rings - PASS OK.
The above was replicated with Provider / Sipgate - PASSES too.
--
to be sure that forwarding to forwarding works I also did the following from pstn and provider.
pstn/prov --> PBX dr 800 -> press 3 -> fw to 111 / uncon fw to 112 / uncon fw to 118 / uncon FW to OUT NUMBER -> PASS OK.

This will fail if PBX cannot contact outside number. Of course I cannot understand why 2 extension forwards are used when a hunt group can be used and still finally forward to an outside number but the results are here and it works.

tmyklebust / terje -- How can you forward a call to an unregistered phone and have this unregistered phone forward the call to your mobile after 10 sec?

1) in the phone unregistered tab there is no time specified in the interface to forward a call after a timeout.
2) Wouldnt you get the same results if you just forward to an outside number directly?

I forwarded DR to unreg extension and forwards to outside number. It works.

---

As for Kate - see if this is the scenario - Dr - press 3 to forward to ext 111. 111 rings for 20 sec for example and if no answer forwards to outside number. This works.

First try and make a call to the outside number directly without DR. See if you get through.

kate,

What is this device:
10:39:56.890 Line::printEndpointInfo :[CM505002]: Gateway:[pstn] Device info: Device Not Identified: User Agent not matched; Capabilities:[reinvite, replaces, able-no-sdp, recvonly] UserAgent: [056 12-35-9983931] Transport: [sip:192.168.1.3:5060]

Okay. I'll try to explain once more and drop any unnecessary step that is only making it more complicated. Not all of the configuration I have is meant to be the optimal solution, I'm just using it to easier explain what is happening. I'm trying to keep hunt groups etc out of the picture for now, because it doesn't work with that either.

I'm only using VOIP lines. There are two incoming lines that are directed to the internal exension 200. One of these lines is also used for outgoing calls from 200 and the other one is used for outgoing calls for extension 100.

Extension 200 is forwarded to my cell phone after 10 seconds. When I call extension 200 from the internal extension 100 everything works fine - the call is transferred to my cell phone after 10 seconds. (The only strange thing here, is that the outbound rule applied to this forward call is the one configured for extension 100. I would think that if extension 200 is forwarding a call, it should use that extension number when it is matching "call from extension" in the outbound rule.)

When I call from an outside number (to one of my to lines - doesn't matter which one), I just get a "(6): Attempt to reach [sip:200@xxx:5060] failed. Reason: No Answer" followed by a "call terminated" when the transfer is supposed to happen.

I'm hoping it is just me that is doing something wrong, but I have tried everything I can think of to get this work.

dear tmyklebust :

I have the same problem with you. If the calls form outside number with DR , Ext can't forward to outside number after 10 seconds.

Any suggestion !!
