A client is ours is wondering if we have any recommendations for wireless headsets to be used with 3cx softphones.

I don't have any experience myself in this regard, so just wondering if anyone utilizes wireless headsets with 3cx softphones, any models I can recommend etc?

Thanks a lot

We are using Jabra 930 USB Headsets which are working fine in combination with the Jabra Suite Software.

We use plantronics - no issues.

your answer is short, can you please give us some more details, headset models , associated to brand and phone model, on V16?

Internally we have 30+ users that only use the softphone that all use various plantronics headsets (W4xx series, W7xx series, CS5xx series, etc).
Depending if you want button control or not they have the hub software installed as well.
We are using the windows client, not web client.

Personally I have tried and failed with many Sennheiser models and the necessary software from Sennheiser and 3CX for Windows desktop even though both companies officially support each other. I had reliability issues with call control (tapping the button on the headset to pick up/hang up calls) and sync with the computer.

Echoing the previous post, I have had years of success with Plantronics Savi W710 and 3CX for Windows desktop. What I found to be most reliable is that even though the headset is wireless, the base station for the headset is hardwired to the computer (via USB in the case of the W710). Neither company (officially) supports the other, but both Windows software packages are compatible with the other. Install the latest version of Plantronics Hub from the official support site. The Plantronics Hub software will recognize the 3CX for Windows desktop software when everything is installed and connected correctly.

Make a habit of restarting both the 3CX desktop software and the Plantronics Hub deskstop software when making updates to either software package or firmware updates to the headset itself. Otherwise, audio may not be sent/received.

Another important thing to consider when using wireless headsets is serviceability. Make sure you can easily replace batteries and that the types of batteries used are easy to obtain.
