record component wont record to file

Hi I am trying to save a recording to file from VAD.

I have a prompt to play when audio is recorded and a prompt after the record component has finished. both prompts play so I would expect the recording to be saved, but it is not.

I have sent SaveToFile to true and 'true' I have set a valid path. ihave given everyone full permissions to the folder.

what am I doing wrong?

Hi James,

In first place, you need to escape the back slash, because it is a special character in javascript. So instead of:
'C:\announcement\pb.wav'

You need to use:
'C:\\announcement\\pb.wav'

Also, depending on the web server used, you may not have permissions to write to a different folder than the application folder. This usually happens in IIS. If you use Abyss, it may work. So you may need to change the destination folder to be under "C:\ProgramData\3CX\Data\Http\Interface\ivr".
