Hello,

We are using 3CX v18 for a customer and have configured two different groups: Group A (extensions 1010-1020) and Group B (extensions 5900-5910). Each group has its own external phone number; number X for Group A and number Y for Group B.

Both external numbers are routed to different IVRs assigned to their respective groups. So, callers to number X reach Group A’s IVR, and callers to number Y reach Group B’s IVR.

Our issue is that when a caller dials number Y and reaches Group B’s IVR, they can still dial an extension from Group A (e.g., 1010) and get through. Our customer wants callers to number Y to only be able to reach the extensions in Group B and not have access to any extensions in Group A.

In this scenario, how can we prevent extensions from Group A from being accessed via Group B’s IVR?

Thank you!

Not possible without MCM.
