in extensions options did you untick "disallow use of extension outside the LAN"

The PC that 3CX is installed is connected via cable.

Not asking for PBX but for others devices trying to be connected to with softphones

They are connected with Wifi

I just did but it did not help
Also now local provisioning is not working again.
My public ip is dynamic (I think at least...it should be dynamic but it has 2 days to change so im not sure) could this be the cause of problems?

how is it set in 3CX , public ip is set to dynamic?
for sure FQDN can't resolve if public ip has just changed, you need about 6 hours to DNS propagate if you are Pro license and 6 minutes if ENT license

try to put 3CX logs in verbose mode to have maximum details and see if you can catch something new to help fixing this

Yes it is set to Dynamic

Ok, I set it to verbose mode.
Is there any possibility that uninstalling and reinstalling 3CX will help?

Perhaps i'm wrong but my feeling is not about 3CX but more related to network settings.

Other point , when you switch 3CX computers did you use a backup to restore on new one?

Ok

Unfortunately I did not. If I had I would restore it to currect 3CX to see if anything changes

you have no backup at all from your previous 3CX ? was it completely broken to be unusable to do a backup?

The previous installation of 3CX was on a computer that the HDD and some other components failed. I hadn't kept backups in an external drive unfortunately and now I wish I had...

My use is to make backup (with schdeduled backup) every weeks on a 6 weeks rotation for same computer saved on FTP server out of customer side, i'm almost able to follow what happens on backup and with 6 differents files i've a chance to have one working if a disaster comes.

something don't know if you already tried with android app
The Android Client automatically tries to use the internal IP and if not reachable it will then try connect to the external IP via FQDN (actually it will always try both but will connect to the one that answers first).

Have you tried using the tunnel mode to see if this helps? It requires Port 5090 open on the PBX side's firewall

When the old setup was built redundancy was not really in mind but now if it will work again I'll make sure to keep regural backups because in situations like this they are needed...

I believe tunnel mode is working already and I have opened port 5090 (5190 in my case because I changed it during installation)

is the old pbx unable to be backuped now? you don't have HDD anymore ? if you have HDD and it is oon w10 you can't start it with another computer not plugged to network and try a local backup to usb stick and after do a restore on new, but of course if it works tyou need to re set the standard ports

Unfortunately no, the old one can not be backed up. The only option is to set up a new one. I might try it on a different OS to see if this helps. The old was was on W8.1 so I might try it on a W8.1 installation to see if it will work but I don't know if it will make any difference...

if i was you i should try to put old hdd in a computer as boot disk and start , if windows goes on it should, then you just need to open 3cx console and do a manual backup; too easy ;):D:p

I'll give it a try when I get the hdd again but I believe that it's damaged and not working at all but I'll give it a try. Thanks! :)
