Does anyone have an idea how much additional overhead enabling Secure SIP with TLS creates for the server's processing or additional latency in packets?

Just curious to make sure I don't turn it on for a couple clients and kill their performance.

Thanks,

Seth

The short answer is that TLS can compound the processing load from 3 to 17 times the normal processing requirements depending on environmental circumstances.

Check out this doc which goes through a pretty deep analysis on this topic.
