i setup a trunk for outgoing sms

1. login to admin web portal
2. click on admin
3. add trunk that allow to send SMS

how do I send SMS from 3CX app on my mobile?

Firstly you need a DID of the that trunk to be pointed to your extension or pointed to a Queue or ring group you are a member off.
Then you will see the option in your mobile app. Just go to Chat click the "+" button and select the SMS option. iOS and Android are a bit different but the concept is the same for both.

i setup the trunk to my extension 100, I created an inbound rule, I login the PBX, and verified the line would ring to my extension

I am using voip.ms as my provider, I cancel the option SMS to email

on the app I do not see "click the "+" button and select the SMS option"

what I am missing?

thank you

Voip.ms is not officially supported for SMS so I guessing you are either using a generic template or you do not have the SMS tab in your trunk settings.
Do you see the SMS tab? Did you configure the provider url and added 3CX webhook in the VoIP.ms portal?

Either way VoIP.ms is not officially supported for SMS and you should either wait for them to be become supported or use a supported provider.

where may i find 3CX webhook ?

I can see it on voip.ms option for
SMS/MMS Webhook URL (3CX)

Like I previously mentioned, VoIP.ms is not officially supported for SMS so the option is not present in their template. If you want to use SMS with VoIP.ms then you will need to delete your existing trunk and add them using the Generic trunk template.

the problem is there is no option on the cloud PBX (3CX) to enable SMS

1. sip trunk
2. edit trunk
3. enable SMS - DO NOT EXIST

What am I missing?

I need to enable SMS to the trunk, users trough the 3CX cloud PBX

can't seems to find it

doesn't exist SMS option

Like I previously mentioned the provider you are using is not supported by 3CX for SMS so the option is NOT there.

You can add the same provider but use the GenericVoipProvider template or you can use a supported provider for SMS.

so if the main number is also my sms number, and the main number is applied to an IVR, there is no way to have a user be able to send a text with 3cx unless that number is assigned to a particular user only?

Using webooks, this should be only if enabled on a per user basis, not a DID per number. With the costs to enable a DID for sms registration on 10DLC, this will raise the costs of the DID number. It should be set to enable per user to enable sms, not going to order 30 more DID's and register them with 10DLC, this IMO needs to be per user not per user with a DID.
