SIP interoperability pre-requisite check

Hello Community,

We are based in india. One of the telecom providers providing SIP trunk connection has asked us to check for support from PBX for interoperability with their connection.

Need your support for following queries regarding 3CX:

User PBX should support the following format at the time of registration :

1. SIP and Tel URI in “To” and “From” field for incoming calls:
Yes/No

2. In Registration Message “From field” and “To field” should be sent with Domain name:
Yes / No

3. Username (Example - +911138090001 ):
Yes / No

4. Password (Example - ****** (123456):
Yes / No

5. Authorization Register Name
(Format - [email protected]):
Yes / No

5. Part of interoperability list (available on the e-world):
Yes / No

Kindly advise.

I would recommend using a supported provider from our supported providers list to ensure compatibility and an easy setup with all the required sip field pre-configured.

3CX does support what is mentioned except from number 5 which i am not sure what the provider is referring to.

There are no partner providers of 3cx in India. You can verify from the link.

You should be able to use the free license to interop test with your provider and answer all those questions.

The issue with that is in India there are no providers who offer wireless SIP connectivity. All are offering a wireline connection, which takes days to connect and have a long procedure.

@harshit I assume by wireless you mean 'Bring your own bandwidth'. In that case I'd see if the provider can test in their office/network/lab. If there are no certified providers then you might be able to convince them to do the testing to become the first. Good luck!
